Hi-Rail FRA Inspection Training is now available for Continental Rail gear, Rafna, and DMF, focusing on hi-rail gear training

Hi-Rail Training Company was built around a simple idea: hi-rail training should come from real-world experience, not just a presentation or checklist.
With more than 20 years of hands-on experience in the hi-rail industry, we provide factory-grade training focused on the equipment your technicians actually install, inspect, maintain, and repair.
Our training is backed by Continental Railworks and Rafna Industries, giving your team access to manufacturer-supported knowledge combined with years of practical field experience.
Most importantly, our relationship doesn't end when the class does. When your technicians have questions after training, we're still here to help. Our goal isn't simply to conduct a class—it's to become a trusted technical resource for your team.
Looking for a shop that knows hi-rail equipment?
Our network includes shops and service centers whose technicians have completed hands-on training with Hi-Rail Training Company. These teams have received practical instruction on the inspection, maintenance, adjustment, and service of hi-rail equipment using OEM guidelines and real-world procedures.
Whether you're looking for service close to home or support while working away from your normal shop, use our network to find a Hi-Rail Training Company trained location near you.
Please reach us at matt@railgeartraining.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Our training is designed for technicians, mechanics, inspectors, shop supervisors, and fleet personnel responsible for hi-rail equipment.
Whether your team installs, inspects, maintains, adjusts, or repairs hi-rail gear, our hands-on training gives them practical knowledge they can take directly back to the shop.
We can also tailor the training to your team's experience level and the specific equipment in your fleet.
We currently provide hands-on training for Continental Railworks, Rafna Industries, and DMF hi-rail equipment.
Our training is built around OEM procedures combined with real-world experience, helping technicians understand the equipment—not just how to complete an inspection checklist.
Continental Railworks and Rafna Industries back our training, giving your team access to factory-grade knowledge with continued technical support after the class
Most of our hi-rail training classes are designed as a one-day course, with approximately 6 hours of instruction.
The day combines classroom learning with hands-on training using actual hi-rail equipment, giving technicians the opportunity to understand the requirements, see proper procedures demonstrated, and apply what they've learned.
Training time may vary slightly depending on the equipment, class size, and specific needs of your team.
Absolutely. Our support doesn't end when the class does.
When questions come up after training—whether your technicians are troubleshooting an issue, working through an adjustment, or need help understanding a procedure—they can reach out to us for guidance.
Our goal is to be more than a one-day training provider. We want to be a long-term technical resource for your team when you need us.
Our hi-rail training is developed around applicable FRA requirements, OEM procedures, and industry best practices. We provide technicians with the knowledge and hands-on instruction needed to properly inspect, maintain, adjust, and understand the hi-rail equipment they work with.
Because every employer and operation is different, each company remains responsible for ensuring its employees, equipment, and procedures meet all applicable regulatory requirements.
We bring the training to you. Our classes are conducted on-site at your facility, allowing your technicians to train hands-on with the hi-rail equipment they work on every day.
On-site training means less travel, less downtime, and more relevant instruction for your team. We can tailor the class around your fleet, equipment, and specific training needs.
Yes. Each participant who successfully completes the course receives a Certificate of Completion documenting the training they received. Our courses provide hands-on, equipment-specific instruction based on OEM procedures, industry requirements, and real-world hi-rail experience.
